 Background and Experience

·         Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been providing mental health services to children and families since 1999.

·         Continues to work part-time at the UC Davis Children’s Hospital CAARE Center to remain on the cutting-edge of evidence based therapy for children and families. The CAARE Center is well known and respected for their research in PCIT and other evidence based therapy practice.

·         Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work.

·         Experience in treating children with behavioral problems, social skills development, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, ADHD and mood disorders. Extensive experience treating children and families who have experienced some type of trauma.

·         Specialized training in therapies that are empirically supported, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

·         Prior to entering private practice, I provided therapy to children and families at the UC Davis Children’s Hospital CAARE Center, Child and Family Institute and the Rape Crisis Center located in Fresno, CA.
